Born and raised in South Africa within a vibrant Portuguese family, I developed a passion for natural remedies and holistic living from an early age. My interest in creating beauty products was evident when I wrote a recipe for a honey and milk bath soak at just 11 years old, marking the beginning of my lifelong journey in holistic skincare. During my time in South Africa, I also developed a natural pregnancy balm called OYA Preggie Balm, designed to support and nourish mothers-to-be.
This journey has now led to the creation of Alma D'Ouro, meaning "Soul of Gold" in Portuguese. At Alma D'Ouro, we specialize in artisanal body oils infused with flower essences, meticulously crafted in small batches. Each oil is made with love and care; during the process, I set intentions, play intentional music, and focus on creating an energy filled with love and peace.
This mindful approach ensures that every bottle carries a positive vibration meant to nourish your skin and uplift your spirit. As a yoga and mindfulness coach, I believe in the powerful connection between our well-being and the products we use.
My diverse experiences living in South Africa, Portugal, Brazil, London, and now the U.S., along with speaking three languages, have enriched my understanding of cultural traditions and natural remedies from around the world.
